# Service-Specific Terms

> Supplemental terms for specific services (beta, caching, rate limits, SLA)

This page supplements the [Terms of Service](/en/legal/terms) with additional terms for specific ruoli services. Where it conflicts with the Terms of Service, this page governs for that specific service.

**Effective date: June 21, 2026**

## Upstream and third-party models

ruoli is a gateway that forwards requests to third-party model providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and various domestic Chinese model vendors). Upstream pricing changes, rate limits, content policies, or outages are outside ruoli's control. ruoli works to provide stable channels but is not liable for interruptions caused by upstream factors.

## Beta services

Features marked "Beta" are provided "as is", may change or be discontinued at any time, and are not recommended for production. ruoli has no obligation to compensate for losses arising from reliance on beta features.

## API limits and caching

* ruoli may apply rate limits and quota management to requests.
* Subject to the caching policy, repeated content may hit the cache to reduce costs.
* ruoli reserves the right to monitor API usage to prevent abuse.

## Data retention

* Your account and usage data are retained per platform settings, for billing, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
* Necessary backups are kept to ensure service continuity.
* Data handling after account termination follows the privacy policy.

## Service level (SLA)

ruoli targets high service availability and gives advance notice of planned maintenance. Technical support response varies by plan.

## Updates

These terms may be revised from time to time; material changes will be announced in advance.
