Prohibited uses
You may not use the ruoli service for any of the following:- Illegal activity: Engaging in or facilitating any violation of applicable laws and regulations
- Harm to networks and infrastructure: Attacking or damaging critical infrastructure, or gaining unauthorized access to computer systems and networks
- Weapons and military: Developing or designing weapons, or unlawful military applications
- Violence and hate: Inciting violence, spreading hate speech or discriminatory content
- Privacy violations: Unlawfully collecting, tracking, or monitoring personal information, or conducting unauthorized surveillance
- Harm to minors: Generating or distributing any content that harms minors
- Psychological harm: Generating content intended to cause psychological harm, manipulate, or encourage self-harm
- Misinformation: Producing or spreading misinformation at scale, or manipulating public opinion
- Interfering with democratic processes: Interfering with elections or other democratic procedures
- Justice misuse: Predictive policing, unauthorized facial recognition, and other high-risk justice applications
- Fraud and deception: Scams, impersonation, phishing, and other deceptive practices
- Platform abuse: Attempting jailbreaks, prompt injection, bypassing safety limits, or abusing the API
- Sexual and adult content: Generating sexual content involving minors, or adult content that violates the law
High-risk use cases
When using ruoli output in the following scenarios, a qualified professional must review it before it is provided to end users, and you must disclose that AI was involved in generating the content:- Legal advice
- Medical diagnosis and health decisions
- Insurance and financial advice
- Employment, housing, and other decisions affecting significant individual rights
- Academic testing and grading
- News content production
Additional requirements for consumer-facing products
- Consumer-facing chatbots should disclose at the start of a session that the user is interacting with AI
- Products serving minors must follow the additional requirements of applicable law
